Thomas Rhett at South First Billiards

This evening KRTY brought Thomas Rhett out to South First Billiards in San Jose, CA. Nate & Tina heard him play in Las Vegas recently and just had to have him come play here! He played an acoustic set including "Whatcha Got in that Cup," "Beer with Jesus," "Front Porch Junkie," & his latest radio single, "Something to Do with My Hands."

One guy from the crowd wanted him to sing a song his dad, Rhett Akins, made popular, "That Ain't My Truck." Rhett went one step further and brought the random audience member to sing with him!

Rhett also sang, "I Ain't Ready to Quit," a song he wrote that Jason Aldean recently recorded.

Afterwards, Rhett met all the fans who came out & signed autographs. Seems like a truly decent guy. I wish the best for him & his career.

50th Birthday Party in San Francisco, CA

50th Birthday Buffet Spread Last night I DJ'ed and taught line dance lessons at a 50th birthday party in San Francisco, CA!

They started the evening out with an amazing spread from a local catering service and I played some country music in the background.

After dinner we provided some fun & easy line dance lessons and then played Top 40 and 70's by request.

These people surprisingly had some stamina and danced the night away!

Do you know anyone having a country themed birthday coming up soon? Send em our way!

Wedding Reception in Danville, CA

Wedding Reception in Danville, CATonight I taught line dance lessons at a wedding reception in Danville, CA! The bride and groom had booth competed on a line dance team and wanted to share their love of dancing with their family and friends at the wedding.

Everyone had a fun time learning some fun & easy lessons and then the bride & groom got a chance to show off their skills with some more advanced dances after. The father & mother of the bride enjoyed the entertainment so much that they invited me back to teach at a second reception a few weeks later. Love my repeat customers! :)

Elliot Randall & The Deadmen - San Francisco, CA

Elliot Randall & the Dead Horsemen I listened to Elliot Randall's Caffeine & Gasoline on their preview site and it sounds worth checking out live. They are playing at the Independent in SF tomorrow night. Hope to see you there!

"Elliot Randall & The Deadmen, an emerging Americana/Outlaw Country band from San Francisco (although Elliot is originally from Charleston, SC). They've had a great year in 2010. They independently released their sophomore album "Caffeine & Gasoline" on February 9th and just weeks later debuted on the Americana radio charts at #28. They remained on the charts for seventeen weeks in the top 30. This was in the company of national acts like Patty Griffin, Band of Heathens, Lyle Lovett and the Crazy Heart Soundtrack. They also had the opportunity this year to support many national acts coming through town including Wynonna, Martina McBride, Steve Miller, Reckless Kelly, and the list goes on." - Dianna Arnspiger, Band Manager

Lets show them a Bay Area welcome and get out to the Independent!
